SKUUMA DESIGN COMPETITION Freie Projekte The idea is to have a candlestick that seems to be liquid but can be touched anyhow. The shape looks exciting and strange and shall bring up feelings to the observer. The coating/outer skin is made by a rotational machine. Inside the candlesticks are filled with different foam materials. Used material for the coating is a extremely soft silicone rubber. It is normally used for prosthesis or cushions. |
